Shepherd’s Supply Incorporated has faithfully provided various services to area communities for 13 years.

Shepherd’s Supply Inc. is a 501- c3 Public Charity.

Shepherd’s Supply is a Christian faith based ministry. We build healthy, lasting relationships with those that we serve one heart at a time. Shepherd’s Supply is a small ministry with our primary goal being to service our community’s needs with all resources that are available.

Shepherd’s Supply excepts client referrals from our faith based supporting churches, local supporting schools, DHR, fire and police departments, Saint Clair County Juvenile court, our supporting private citizens and business donors.

We assist families Thursday – Saturday, Monday and Tuesday with food, personal hygiene items, cleaning products and furniture depending upon availability. In addition to this we also have a structured Wednesday food program targeting seniors and small families which is currently serving 18 seniors and 6 families, varying numbers of walk-ins, 23 shut-in seniors (delivered), Moody Elementary School and Moody Middle school snack program.

THINGS PEOPLE SAY TO ME AT CHRISTMAS:

1. "you sure have a lot of work to do this time of year".
God has given me the opportunity to exercise this small but vital muscle called a heart and I have to tell you that it NEEDS A LOT of exercise. I have the privilege of working with clients and donors. What a blessing you all are to this ol’ girls small heart.

2. "I don’t know how you do it girl", Is there anything I can do for you?"
Yes. You can give your time, money and resources ALL YEAR LONG. In these economically unsure times you can STOP LIVING IN FEAR of what you may not have. You are passing this fearful mentality onto the next generation called…your children. While I can't tell you what to do or how to live, I can share what I see that works for me. I rely on our Father without reservation. He has kept my babies with full bellies, beds to sleep in, clothing to wear, sufficient school supplies, a roof over their heads and even some extras. Lots of extras! My friend puts it this way "if you take care of the Fathers business then He will take care of you" Continue to be people that our Father will be pleased with.

Help when you can, give until you KNOW that you have given, share the word not only with your mouth but with your actions. Work side by side with people. Talk to someone you don't even know about everyday life. Most importantly…Talk to your Daddy about your concerns. Leave the table with the goal of serving Him and for goodness sakes, let Him work in your life. God loves you.

NOW. What is Shepherd Supply doing for Christmas? We have angels available. Children that need your kindness. Families that have been laid off. Disabled. Newly divorced or perhaps they have lost a parent due to death. They are here, in my files…available. If you are interested, call me @369-5876.

I know this all may sound harsh but for those of you that know me you know that I spend my TIME giving my TIME and I'm just not much for sugar coating or courting. I know you won’t believe this (J), but I DO know that God could not have chosen a less likely person to serve than me!
