A Few Thank You’s We Have Received

Dear Helpers,

I want everyone who helped me, my mom and my brother to know that I think that you are the nicest people I have ever met, and thank you. This may sound kind of weird but it seems that you are all like angels who came and really helped when we needed it. I am trying to make this sound like the nicest note, but I can't think of anything else to say. Oh! I know. You can come to my house anytime, cause if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have the house I live in. Thank you.

I am happy to be back home with my family where I am safe and loved. My husband would beat me up so bad that throughout our marriage, I had 27 broken bones. I didn't want to tell you (even though I think that you knew) about the abuse when I met you because I needed the help so badly. You and Park Avenue Baptist Church helped me so much. I loved Bro. Donald’s messages. He helped me understand that God loves ME. I am in counseling now and doing better. You know, you were right Dawn. I REALLY AM A PRINCESS OF THE KING. To Shepherd’s Supply:

After I fell two years ago and had to have back surgery I lost my job. I fell behind on my bills then lost all of my furniture and my house. Now, I receive a small disability check to support my children and provide everything we need. After losing everything I was finally able to buy a trailer for $500.00 that needed ALOT of work. It seemed hopeless. But this is where I found out what a Provider God is! I applied to Shepherd's Supply for help through the school. After being accepted, my children had the most wonderful Christmas ever. I requested a bed for my children to sleep on. We got those beds and so much more. After volunteers visited my trailer, suddenly all of our needs were being met. Gifts poured in from all of you and I will be forever grateful for all you have done. A nice gentleman even came out and fixed dangerous electrical plugs. You have made a home out of an old beat up run down trailer. (condensed)
